Easter is a time to get together with family and surprise kids with treats from the Easter Bunny. It’s also the second biggest holiday for kids to receive candy! This year, try a little spin on the traditional basket with this Money Balloon Easter Basket. Kids still get their fair share of candy, but also something very special—money-filled balloons!

Materials:

  • Clear latex balloons
  • Helium (purchased or rented tank, or fill at local grocery or party store)
  • Colored paper (or store-bought confetti)
  • Hole punch
  • $1 dollar bills
  • Pencil
  • Curling ribbon
  • Ribbon
  • Metal buckets (or baskets)
  • Sticker letters
  • Paper shreds
  • Plastic Easter eggs
  • Candy

Evite DIY Money Balloon Easter BasketStep 1: If making your own confetti, punch holes with hole punch and colored paper.

Step 2: Fill balloons with confetti.

Step 4: Insert three rolled $1 dollar bills into a balloon, using the end of a pencil to push through.

Step 7: Fill baskets with paper shreds and candy-filled plastic Easter eggs.
