We love a good tissue paper tassel garland for any party! Here’s a video tutorial on how to create one, as seen in this Pretty-in-Pink party.
- Hot glue
- Tissue Paper
- Ribbon or twine
Step 1: If you are doing this from scratch, first fold one piece of tissue paper lengthwise, and cut fringe, leaving 4 to 5 inches uncut at the top fold of your paper.
Step 2: Lay one piece of cut fringe flat on a table.
Step 3: Roll center of tissue paper.
Step 4: Twist center of tissue paper.
Step 5: Wrap tassel around your ribbon or twine.
Step 6: Secure tassel with hot glue and hold in place for about 30 seconds to allow hot glue to dry.
Step 7: Repeat steps until you have enough tassels for the desired length of your garland. Then hang and enjoy!
We recommend using 3M Command hooks to hang your garland on a wall. Or you can tie your garland to a balloon, such as the giant confetti balloon seen in our Pretty-in-Pink Party Guide.
