Turn store-bought cookies into awesome soccer cookie pops with this easy DIY from InspiredByThis.com
- Rectangular planters
- Flower foam or Styrofoam
- Green paper confetti
- Mint M&M’s
- Chocolate sandwich cookies (we used Oreo Double Stuf)
- Soccer ball edible sugar decorations (available at party supply stores or online)
- Cake pop sticks
- Frosting (we used Pillsbury Creamy Supreme)
- Flag printout (see below)
Step 1: Cut the foam so that it fits just right in the planter.
Step 2: Fill the remaining space in the planter with green paper confetti (to look like grass).
Step 3: Pour M&M’s on top of the confetti.
Step 4: Use frosting to adhere the soccer ball decorations to the cookies.
Step 5: Without separating the halves of the cookie, slide the cake-pop stick into the cookie’s filling.
Step 6: Insert the cookie pops into the foam in the planters so they stand up.
Step 1: Print out small images of the World Cup participating nations’ flags from the Internet (you should be able to find them all in one sheet).
Step 2: Cut out the mini flags.
Step 3: String the flags together by taping them onto the string (we used 8 per planter).
Step 4: Tape the strings of flags to the edges of the planters.
Make your party pop by putting these out for all your soccer fan friends!
