- 3 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 12-ounce bottle of beer (we used Heineken)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients, then mix in beer until just combined.
Pour batter into a greased 8" x 4" loaf pan, then drizzle with butter.
Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.
