If there’s one thing I love more than planning for the holidays, it’s planning for the holidays with a little bit of a twist. There’s something seriously fun about hosting a themed party during the holiday season. Your family and friends have probably been invited to a multitude of festive get-togethers over the next couple of weeks, so why not make your event something to talk about!

Speaking of, you want to be sure that your food also reflects this sentiment. It’s time to get creative with your holiday cuisine, so today I want to share a recipe that your guests will be talking about for years to come, brought to you by Evite in partnership with KING’S HAWAIIAN® Brand.

Evite Cranberry Pepper Jelly Dip

Have you ever made a bread bowl? The first time I’d ever tried a bread bowl was when I attended a party where the host had made their incredible spinach dip, served inside a big bowl made from a round of pumpernickel. I was intrigued and probably ate more than my fair share, ignoring other snacks around the buffet table for another taste of this awesome dip.

This year, I want to share my own bread bowl and dip recipe with, of course, a holiday twist! Keep reading to learn how your can make my special Cranberry Pepper Jelly Dip, served with KING’S HAWAIIAN® Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread.

Ingredients:

Directions:

Step 1: Hollow out the round bread using a serrated knife.

Step 2: Add cream cheese to the bottom of the bowl. Mix cranberry sauce and red pepper jelly in small bowl, then layer on top of cream cheese.

Step 3: Serve with crackers or veggies! And, don’t forget to tear off pieces of the sweet bread bowl for dipping, too!

There are a lot of different breads I could have chosen for this bread bowl, but I decided to go with KING’S HAWAIIAN® Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread because of the taste and texture, which work perfectly with the jelly dip. I love that I can always find this bread at my local Walmart, which makes it a no-brainer for the holidays when I don’t want to be making more than one stop on my grocery shopping adventures! I know I can trust that this bread will taste absolutely perfect each time I bring it home.
