- 1 1/2 Cups of Ricotta Cheese
- 1/4 Cup of Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Tbsp. of Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp. Oregano
- 1 Oz. of Fresh Basil Leaves
- 2 Cups of Marinara
- 12 Oz. of Chopped Pastrami
- 16 Oz. of Sliced Mozzarella Cheese
- 16 Slices of White Bread
Oil a 10″ x 13″ pan.
Sprinkle a 1/2 tbsp. of oregano on the bottom of the oiled pan.
Add a layer of white bread until bottom of pan is fully covered, roughly 8 slices.
Add a layer of mozzarella cheese until bread is fully covered, roughly 12 slices.
Add a 1/4″ layer of ricotta cheese, roughly 3/4 cup.
Sprinkle another 3/4 of a tbsp. of oregano over the ricotta.
Add a layer of marinara sauce, roughly 1 cup.
Add a layer of thickly chopped pastrami, roughly 12oz., or 1 1/2 cups.
Add another layer of mozzarella cheese, roughly 12 slices.
Add another layer of white bread, roughly 8 slices.
Top bread layer with another layer of ricotta cheese, roughly 3/4 cup.
Add one more layer of marinara sauce, roughly 1 cup.
Sprinkle desired amount of parmesan cheese over marinara sauce.
Dress with fresh basil leaves.
Cook for 25 mins at 350°.
Let cool and serve!
