In case you haven’t heard, Hygge is a trend that has been all the rage recently. For those who don’t know, Hygge (pronounced hue-guh) is the Danish word that alludes to a feeling of cozy intimacy, contentment, and connection. It’s all about creating feelings of happiness, friendliness embracing little luxuries every day in order to foster a sense of familiarity, comfort, and kinship.

Hygge can be manifested in many ways, but one of our favorites is food. So this summer, why not try a Nordic twist on classic comfort foods. Watch the video below to learn how to make Hygge-inspired summer bites including sausage & pineapple party bites, Nordic Toast (baguette slices with cream cheese, meat, and herbs), charcuterie salad kabobs, and sorbet in orange bowls.
