It’s official, basketball fever is here! Invite fans over to watch the game(s) with you and serve this savory rosemary Chex mix for a guaranteed slam-dunk snack.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes (includes cooking time)
- 3 cups Rice Chex
- 4 cups Corn Chex
- 1 cup pretzels
- 1 1/2 cups bagel chips
- 2 cups unsalted cashews
- 4 tablespoons minced fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 teaspoons light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Step 1: Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Step 2: Mix Chex, pretzels, cashews, and bagel chips in a bowl. Cover a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil, pour dry ingredients on the sheet, and set aside.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, rosemary, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, and salt.
Step 4: Pour butter mixture over dry ingredients on your cookie sheet, making sure to stir/fold to coat the dry cereal mix.
Step 5: Place cookie sheet in preheated oven and cook for 1 hour.
Step 6: Allow Chex mix to cool before eating. Store in an airtight container, and enjoy!
*To make this recipe gluten free, simply switch out the pretzels and bagel chips for gluten-free pretzels and bagel chips, and check your spices and other ingredients to ensure they are gluten free.
