Evite Mint Blossom Cookies by Ella & Annie


Yield: 35 cookies


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cup four
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Mint candies (found in bulk section of grocery store)

    Combine butter, sugar and egg then add vanilla and baking soda. Mix then stir in flour. Dough will begin to form.

    Roll dough into 1” balls and coat in sugar. Place on a cookie sheet and chill for 10 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.

    Remove from oven and press in one mint per cookie. Do this step while the cookies are hot. Let cool and serve!
