- Parchment paper
- Decorative straws or lollipop sticks
- White molding chocolate
- 1-2 Tablespoons shortening
- Edible sugar eyes
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Insert a straw or stick into bottom (flat side) of each marshmallow and place on baking sheet.
Melt the molding chocolate according to package directions, then stir in 1-2 tablespoons of shortening to thin out mixture.
Dip each marshmallow into the chocolate and allow excess to drip off. (Be patient: This step is important!)
While the chocolate is still wet, adhere candy eyes, then lay onto parchment-lined baking sheet to dry.
Once the first layer is dry, reheat the molding chocolate and, using a fork, drizzle a few lines back and forth to create the mummy’s gauze wraps.
