‘Tis the season to be jolly! Check out these adorable Frosty the Snow Family Cupcakes — sure to be the star of any baking party.
- 1 container vanilla frosting
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate frosting
- 2 cups finely chopped coconut
- 2 jumbo vanilla cupcakes
- 7 standard vanilla cupcakes
- 6 mini vanilla cupcakes
- 1 orange circus peanut, cut into triangles (3/4 inch on 2 sides and ¼ inch on other) to resemble carrots
- Candies for decorating
Spoon 1/4 cup of vanilla frosting into a zip-top bag and dark chocolate frosting into a second bag. Press out excess air and seal. Place coconut in a shallow bowl. Spread remaining vanilla frosting on cupcakes. Invert frosted cupcakes into coconut and press to coat.
Snip a small corner from the bag containing chocolate. Do eyes and a mouth onto mini frosted cupcakes. Insert circus-peanut triangle noses.
For adults, place a standard cupcake on top of a jumbo cupcake. Top with a mini cupcake laid on its side. For teens, place a standard cupcake on top of another standard cupcake. Top with a mini cupcake laid on its side. For kids, top a standard cupcake with a mini cupcake laid on its side. Use for Christmas cupcake cake or decorate with Oreos (top hats), gumdrops (baseball and stocking caps), sticks of gum (ties or scarves), and whatever else you desire.
