For a fuss-free frozen dessert, try your hand at this three-ingredient cranberry granita. Watch the video below to get the recipe, brought to you by Evite in partnership with Rubbermaid.

Yield: Serves 10-12


  • 4 cups sweetened cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Juice of 2 limes, about 1/4 cup
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries (for garnish)
  • Large resealable container (such as1.5 Gal Rubbermaid® Easy Find Lids™ Container)

    Mix cranberry juice, sugar and lime juice together in a small pot and place over low heat, stirring just until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool.

    Pour mixture into large resealable container. Freeze until icy around edges, about 45 minutes. Using a fork, scrape icy portions into the middle of the container.

    Freeze again and repeat the step of scraping the ice crystals with a fork 1-2 times until the granita has flaky crystals all the way through, about 4 hours.

    Cover tightly and freeze. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Keep frozen.)

    Scrape granita into serving dishes and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh cranberries.
