You’re never too old to play with your food! Build this waffle tower by stacking waffle sticks, then serve as the centerpiece at your next party to impress all your guests. It’s perfect for brunch, play dates and more. Watch the video below to learn how to make your own.
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon milk
- Food coloring
To make the waffles, combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix.
Add the wet ingredients one at a time and stir until fully combined. Add more milk or water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
Ladle the waffle mix into a stick waffle maker and cook until golden brown. Let cool.
To make the frosting, combine powdered sugar, milk and food coloring. Stir until combined. Add more milk if the mixture is too thick.
Dip the ends of the cooled waffle sticks into the colored frosting and let dry on a parchment-lined cooling rack. For a brighter color, dip the ends of the sticks 2-3 times and let dry completely.
Stack the sticks into a tower, then serve and enjoy!
