Given my three-year-old daughter’s love for the outdoors and anything garden-related — butterflies, worms, flowers, caterpillars, and yes, even just plain dirt — I knew a garden birthday party would be the perfect theme to really capture her personality! I went for a more rustic yet girly feel and decorated with galvanized watering cans accompanied by lace and pink accents and plenty of flowers. For food, we put together “ants on a log” and caterpillar skewers made of green grapes — perfect for both the kids and adults. For party favors, we chose bamboo butterfly nets and mini clay pots, both from the dollar store, filled with flower seed packets and labeled “I’m GROWing Up!”
