Throwing a tea party is every girl mommy’s dream I feel. Watching your daughter with her little friends acting so angelic, proper, and sipping tea can pull at your heartstrings. With my daughter turning four this year I felt it was the perfect year for her to have her very first intimate tea party with a few of her friends. I really wanted to make sure her tea party matched her personality so I put a spin on it and made it an “Enchanted Tea Party” due to her love of all things fairy- and princess- related. She also loves anything that has to do with flowers, the garden, or being outdoors so I set up her enchanted tea party outside. I used pallet wood as the table, threw some quilts down on the grass with pillows as their seats, a lace tablecloth, and I made a floral garland table runner for the centerpiece that I think really tied it all in. I kept the food rather simple with egg salad sandwiches, a summer salad, grape skewers, a yogurt bar (since it was mid-morning), biscotti biscuits, macaroons, meringues, and cupcakes.
