I’m very excited to share my Little Witches and Wizards party and photoshoot with you! Since I have little boys, I wanted to incorporate a Halloween theme that wouldn’t be just for girls, but for boys as well. My little guys love wearing capes, they like magical things like wands and abracadabra kind of fun. So I came up with Little Witches and Wizards for the Halloween theme. This theme was perfect! My mom was visiting for the first time during Halloween so it made our party extra special. She and I had fun discussing what we would wear and, with her assistance, I made the boys their wizard costumes.
For the boys’ costumes, I didn’t want the typical or traditional wizard costume gown with moons and stars. So I mixed and matched some styles to include easy-to-make cute bowties for the cape, a gown with velvet trim, coordinating striped tights and tennis shoes. The wizard hats were adorable.
My mom and I searched both the thrift stores and costume shops and we dressed up as witches. She wore a pretty purple witch hat with black lace. We had a great turnout at our Halloween party! It was fun to say the least! The kids all looked so adorable all dressed up in their costumes. We purchased cute monster designed sack race bags at the party store and the kids had a blast! party was a success! The little “witch and wizard” did a great job posing for the camera. Their costumes were beautiful and they looked amazing! The witch costume was gorgeous and had lots of stunning details. Thank you kiddos very much!
The dessert table colors and invitation coordinated very well. The dessert table displayed an assortment of delicious and beautiful desserts and props. The apothecary supply store table was lots of fun to design. There were lots of great supplies for any good little witch and wizard! Supplies ranged from potion bottles, spiders, shiny apples, spell books, etc.
Between our wonderful kids, amazing décor and desserts from very talented vendors, my great photographer, very helpful husband and wonderful memories of our Halloween party planning, I couldn’t have asked for a better party and photo shoot project. Great memories! This one’s especially for you Mom. Happy Halloween everyone! Have a fun and safe Halloween season!
